Resurrection: The Christian Dead Will Rise (1 Thes. 4:13–16) When Paul preached the doctrine of the resurrection to the Athenian philosophers, most of them mocked him (Acts 17:32). To the Greeks, being rid of the body was their great hope. Why would any man want to have his body resurrected?
